The Volcanic Craters Helicopter Tour

Go on a thrilling ride over countless volcanic craters!

On this helicopter tour, you will fly above the Reykjanes Peninsula. This area of Iceland is known for its high geothermal activity and stunning sights such as the Eldvörp crater row.  Eldvörp is a 10 km long crater row where you can see steam rising from the earth. Viewing this area from above will completely alter your perception of it, as you’ll be able to view it from a completely different perspective. You will not only be able to view the Eldvörp crater row from above but you will also land by it.

During this helicopter tour, you will also fly above sights such as the Seltún high geothermal area and the famous Blue Lagoon. In addition, you’ll be able to view Lake Kleifarvatn and Lake Grænavatn. You will also see the scenic coastline of the peninsula, which is characterized by stunning rugged cliffs.

The total duration of this tour is 65 – 90 minutes, of which flight duration is about 40 – 60 minutes. The landing included in the tour is about 15 minutes.
