• In spring, access to the glacier may be limited due to snow conditions
• Tours may be cancelled at short notice due to weather or safety conditions. Alternative dates, tours or a full refund may be offered
• Weather can change quickly on the glacier, so warm and waterproof clothing is essential

• 100% cancellation fee if cancelled 1 day or less before departure
• No cancellation fee when cancelled more than 1 day before departure

Meet at Gullfoss Waterfall

Your Langjökull Glacier Tour from Gullfoss begins at the upper Gullfoss parking area, near Gullfoss Café.

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure and look for the Sleipnir transfer bus and meeting point sign.

Journey into the Icelandic Highlands

Travel by Highland bus towards Sleipnir’s Monster Truck base, where you board one of the enormous Sleipnir Monster Glacier Trucks.

From here, the adventure continues through the spectacular Icelandic Highlands towards Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier.

Along the way, your guide shares fascinating facts about glaciers, local stories and Nordic mythology.

Monster Truck Ride on Langjökull

Travel across the glacier aboard the specially designed Monster Truck and enjoy panoramic views over the vast frozen landscape.

Once conditions allow, step outside onto Langjökull to explore, take photographs and experience the glacier up close.

Glacier Activities

Enjoy some fun on the ice with optional sledding and glacier golf.

These activities take place during stops on the glacier and are dependent on weather, snow and glacier conditions.

Glacier Pop-Up Café

Take a break surrounded by incredible glacier scenery at Sleipnir’s Glacier Pop-Up Café.

Warm up with an included drink such as hot chocolate or tea and enjoy a traditional Icelandic kleina. You may also have the opportunity to taste fresh water directly from the glacier.

Return to Gullfoss

After your Langjökull adventure, travel back through the Highlands and return to Gullfoss Waterfall, where the tour finishes.

The complete experience takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on road, weather and glacier conditions.
