Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a double ride and a single ride?

The standard version of this tour has two persons riding a snowmobile. This is called a double ride.

You can book the tour with the additional single rider fee, which means that one person rides each snowmobile.

Please note that if you are traveling solo, or have an odd number of guests (3, 5 etc.) you must book this tour with the single rider fee for at least one person. Double rides are not shared with other guests on the tour.

Can I bring my backpack with me on the snowmobile tour?

Yes, it is perfectly fine for you to wear your backpack when snowmobiling. If you find it restricting you can also bungee cord the backpack on the rack of the snowmobile.

What is a Super Jeep?

A Super Jeep is a super cool, modified vehicle. These vehicles are often characterized by their big tires, but they have many other qualities. These vehicles are known for their off-road abilities, so they are a popular option for those who’d like to go up on glaciers and visit other areas that are hard to reach in regular vehicles.

Plus they just look really cool!
