Red Lava Horse Riding Tour from Reykjavik
We ride in small groups and offer personal and friendly service!
This tour is about 5-7 km, depending on the riders’ experience.
It is suitable for beginners and those with more experience as we can choose between routes in the area. We will ride on a beautiful and smooth-riding path along the Redhills or, for a group of more experienced riders, we will ride by Rauðarvatn. On both routes, you will enjoy natural riding paths and a wonderful setting for horseback riding, where you will get to know the friendly Icelandic horse.
The total tour duration is 2,5 hours; 1,5-2 hours riding.
If you need a transfer from Reykjavik, your pick-up starts 60 minutes before departure.
If you have your car, please be at our location 30 minutes before the set riding time. Please check the meeting point on Google Maps HERE.
Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations can be canceled 48 hours prior to departure without penalty. Cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to departure are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@iat.is.
Please be mindful of possible time zone differences. Iceland is in the GMT time zone and cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before departure in Icelandic local time (GMT).
If you do need to cancel your tour, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible.
