Overnight adventure on Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Are you seeking an adventurous, solitary way to spend an unforgettable night in Iceland? Located on Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon, one of Iceland’s hidden gems, you will find Aurora Huts or so-called Igloo boats.

Immerse yourself in the spectacular Icelandic wilderness and spend a memorable night on the lagoon. The magnificent view over the glacier lagoon towards Vatnajökull Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe, is sure to impress even the most experienced traveler!

Only two boats are available, so grab this rare opportunity to spend the night on the glacier lagoon!

Each boat can accommodate two persons in a double bed. The boats are designed with comfort and style in mind. Glass walls and ceiling offer an exceptional view from inside.

The boats are fitted with a composting toilet, a small kitchenette, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Please note that there are no shower facilities available on location. The age limit is 20 years old.

During summer, appreciate the 24-hour daylight, and throughout spring and autumn, admire the pristine landscape as twilight falls. Please note that you will be taken to the Igloo boat by a zodiac boat (summer & shoulder season). The hut floats on the lagoon, so you will not be able to go on land during your stay!

During winter, enjoy stargazing and searching for Northern lights from inside the warmth of the hut. During winter, the cabins will be located on the ice.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is canceled 14 days or less before the event. The 5% of the costs are nonrefundable.
