Northern Lights Photography Tour from Reykjavik

Experience the magic of the Northern Lights on a small-group photography tour from Reykjavík. Travel with an experienced Northern Lights guide in search of the best conditions for seeing and photographing the aurora, with a maximum of 19 passengers per tour.

Finding the Northern Lights is all about being in the right place at the right time. Before each departure, the team studies the latest weather and aurora conditions to choose the most promising location for the evening. This means the destination can change from night to night, giving you the best possible opportunity to enjoy Iceland’s dark skies away from the city lights.

Capture Your Northern Lights Experience

Photographing the Northern Lights can be challenging, especially if you have never tried it before. Your guide will provide professional guidance to help you capture the aurora and make the most of your camera during the tour.

You can also enjoy the experience without worrying about getting the perfect photograph yourself. Free photos taken by your guide during the Northern Lights tour are included, giving you a memorable keepsake from your night under the Icelandic sky.

During the evening, warm up with Icelandic hot chocolate and snacks while waiting for the aurora to appear.

What If the Northern Lights Don’t Appear?

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings can never be guaranteed. Even when the aurora does not make an appearance, Iceland’s dark skies can offer a beautiful evening beneath the stars.

If conditions are not in your favour and you do not see the Northern Lights, you will be offered a complimentary rebooking, subject to availability.

With a small group, professional guidance and free photos included, this tour is a great choice for travellers who want to experience and photograph one of Iceland’s most spectacular natural phenomena.
