Discover Iceland’s raw energy at Krauma Geothermal Baths & Spa, where water flows directly from Deildartunguhver, the most powerful hot spring in Europe. The spring produces water at 100°C (212°F). To create the perfect bathing temperature, Krauma blends it with cool glacial water from Rauðsgil, which comes from Ok, Iceland’s smallest glacier.
Krauma features five soothing geothermal baths that invite you to slow down and recharge. If you want a refreshing boost, dip into the cold tub to stimulate blood circulation. The spa also offers two calming saunas and a quiet relaxation room. Here, you can rest by a warm fireplace while listening to gentle music and letting stress drift away.
After your bath, enjoy a meal at the Krauma Restaurant. The chefs prepare Icelandic dishes with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms. Every plate highlights authentic flavors and seasonal produce. From your seat, you can admire an unforgettable view of the steaming Deildartunguhver hot spring.
The bar provides a wide range of drinks and light snacks. It’s an ideal spot to unwind, share stories, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Open throughout the year, the restaurant and bar welcome up to 70 guests indoors. On warm days, another 60 guests can relax on the outdoor terrace surrounded by Icelandic nature.
Whether you want to soak in geothermal waters, taste local cuisine, or simply enjoy peace and stillness, Krauma offers it all. Every detail—from the natural baths to the farm-to-table meals—creates a unique connection with Iceland’s landscape. A visit to Krauma Geothermal Baths & Spa promises relaxation, renewal, and a true taste of nature’s power.
