• The Monster Truck and ice cave experience depends on glacier and weather conditions and may be cancelled at short notice for safety reasons
• Food and drinks are not included
• We recommend bringing snacks, a packed lunch and water
• There may be an opportunity to buy food at Geysir, but time can be limited

Pickup in Reykjavík

Your Golden Circle & Ice Cave Tour from Reykjavík begins with pickup from selected locations around Reykjavík.

Pickup starts at 08:30 and can take up to 30 minutes. Travel in a Superjeep or modified minibus towards the Golden Circle.

Þingvellir National Park

The first major stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Iceland’s most important historical locations.

See the dramatic rift landscape created by the movement of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and discover where Iceland’s historic parliament was established in 930 AD.

Geysir Geothermal Area

Continue to the geothermal landscape around Geysir, where steaming hot springs and colourful mineral deposits surround the famous Strokkur geyser.

Watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, sending hot water high into the air. There is also an opportunity to buy food here before continuing towards the glacier.

Monster Truck Adventure on Langjökull

From the Gullfoss area, join Sleipnir for the glacier portion of your adventure.

Travel towards Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier, aboard one of Sleipnir’s enormous Monster Glacier Trucks.

Enjoy panoramic views across the frozen landscape while your guide shares stories about glaciers, geology and the Icelandic Highlands.

Explore the Natural Neptune Ice Cave

Step inside the naturally formed Neptune Ice Cave and discover a spectacular world hidden within Langjökull.

See deep-blue ice, crystal formations and dark layers of volcanic ash preserved inside the glacier. Your guide leads you through the cave, and crampons or spikes are provided for the experience.

Gullfoss Waterfall

After returning from Langjökull, visit magnificent Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.

Walk along the viewing paths and watch the powerful Hvítá river cascade into the dramatic gorge below.

Return to Reykjavík

After a full day combining the Golden Circle with a Langjökull glacier and ice cave adventure, travel back to Reykjavík.

The complete tour takes approximately 11 hours, although timing and the itinerary may vary depending on weather, road and glacier conditions.
