Join our 2 Day South Coast Tour for an incredible experience exploring the stunning landscapes of Iceland. Participants will be conveniently picked up from their chosen location in Reykjavik, allowing up to 30 minutes for pick-up.
The adventure begins as we drive along Route 1 to visit the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. On clear days, catch glimpses of the magnificent Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers in the distance. Next, we’ll explore the picturesque coastal village of Vík, home to the iconic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, known for its unique basalt columns and crashing waves.
After a day full of awe-inspiring sights, we will travel deeper into the countryside to our accommodation in Skaftafell. Enjoy a relaxing evening to recharge for the adventures ahead. If conditions are favorable, we’ll conclude the day by seeking out the enchanting Northern Lights.
On the second day, we’ll start early and journey to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the beautiful Diamond Beach. Here, you’ll see mesmerizing icebergs floating in the lagoon. Next, we will visit an Ice Cave, where certified guides ensure a safe and exciting exploration.
Ice caves are accessible during the winter months when glacial rivers freeze. Our main destination in winter is the Crystal Ice Cave, but if conditions do not allow access, we’ll explore an alternative ice cave. From April to October, we visit the Katla Ice Cave, or opt for a glacier hike if needed.
Your safety is our top priority. Be aware that weather conditions may lead to changes in our itinerary. Food is not included, except for breakfast on the second day. Dress appropriately in warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy hiking shoes.
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity! Reserve your spot on the 2 Day South Coast Tour today for an extraordinary adventure in Iceland!
We always recommend booking a multi-day tour starting at least one day after arriving in Iceland. If you’re flying in from the US or will be landing early (4–6:30 AM), you should be able to join the tour, but some risks would follow (i.e., if the flight gets delayed) and could, therefore, miss out on the tour.
A single supplement is required for single travelers – please add it while booking.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is canceled 2 days or less before the event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if the booking is canceled 14 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 0% if the booking is canceled 365 days or less before the event.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@iat.is.
