Dive into Iceland’s stunning underwater world with our Ocean Diver Day Tour, where you’ll encounter the unique marine life of the North Atlantic. This adventure takes you to one of Iceland’s top ocean diving sites—Garður, located at the tip of the Reykjanes Peninsula, just an hour’s drive from Reykjavik.
Garður is a shore dive famous for its rich biodiversity. Underwater, you’ll explore lush kelp forests, which provide shelter for fascinating species such as lumpsuckers, nudibranchs, and various invertebrates. The ocean floor is decorated with colorful algae, soft orange coral, and sandy patches where flounders hide. If you’re lucky, a curious wolffish might peek out from the rocks, resembling a creature from prehistoric times.
The start time of this diving tour depends on the tides, as dives are planned to finish around high tide. Please note that ocean dives in Iceland are weather-dependent, and sometimes trips may be canceled due to rough conditions. If so, we’ll offer alternative dive sites such as Bjarnagjá, Kleifarvatn, or Silfra, which are less affected by the weather.
All participants must:
