Important Diving Experience Requirements
The Silfra Diving Tour in Iceland is for experienced divers only.
To participate, you must provide either:
- Proof of Dry Suit Certification, or
- Proof of at least 10 logged dry suit dives within the last two years
You must bring your dry suit certificate or qualifying dive log with you.
In addition, all guests must review the required Diving in Silfra Handbook and Dive Medical Questionnaire before the tour. If the medical questionnaire requires medical clearance, you must bring a doctor’s note.
The minimum age is 18 years.
Meet at Silfra in Þingvellir National Park
This is a meet-on-location Silfra diving tour. The meeting point is at Silfra Car Park in Þingvellir National Park.
Guest parking is at Þingvellir Parking P5, approximately a 5-minute walk from the meeting point. Parking fees are not included.
From P5, walk approximately 400 metres back along the road towards the dive vehicles and look for the Arctic Adventures van.
Please be ready to meet your guide 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
