The Golden Circle & Monster Glacier Truck Tour from Reykjavik combines Iceland’s most famous sights with an unforgettable glacier adventure. Explore the Golden Circle and then ride the world’s largest glacier truck across Langjökull, Iceland’s second-biggest glacier.
Your journey begins with pick-up in Reykjavik, 30 minutes before departure. You can select hotel pick-up or meet at a nearby bus stop for a small fee. If you prefer, join the tour at the BSI Central Bus Station free of charge.
Þingvellir National Park – This UNESCO World Heritage Site is where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates drift apart. It is both a geological wonder and a site of historic importance.
Geysir Geothermal Area – The original geyser that gave its name to all others. Strokkur erupts every 4–8 minutes, sending boiling water up to 40 meters high. The Great Geysir is mostly dormant today, but Strokkur never fails to impress.
Gullfoss Waterfall – Known as the “Golden Falls.” This powerful two-tiered waterfall plunges 32 meters into a rugged canyon. It is one of Iceland’s most photographed natural wonders.
From Gullfoss, the Golden Circle & Monster Glacier Truck Tour continues to Langjökull Glacier. Here you board Sleipnir, a massive eight-wheeled truck with 800 horsepower. Designed for icy terrain, it offers a safe and thrilling ride. On the glacier, you’ll enjoy stunning views, learn fascinating glacier facts, and taste pure meltwater straight from the source. Icelandic music adds to the experience.
Pack waterproof hiking boots, warm socks, layered clothing, a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, and sunglasses. Don’t forget your camera to capture incredible moments.
The Golden Circle & Monster Glacier Truck Tour from Reykjavik is the ultimate mix of sightseeing and adventure — a must-do experience in Iceland.
