Meeting Point & Practical Info
The adventure begins at Ingólfstorg Square, right by the two tall stone pillars in Reykjavik’s city center. It’s easy to find—just follow Laugavegur, the main shopping street, until you reach the square. Prefer pickup? You can also choose a central city hotel as your meeting location.
The walk is about 2.5 km (so bring comfy shoes), and as always in Iceland, dress for all kinds of weather. Most importantly, come with an empty stomach—we promise you’ll leave full and happy!

Reservations can be canceled 24 hours prior to departure without penalty. Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to departure are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@iat.is.
Please be mindful of possible time zone differences. Iceland is in the GMT time zone and cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before departure in Icelandic local time (GMT).
If you do need to cancel your tour, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible.
We meet up at Ingolfstorg Square in the center of Reykjavik by the two stone high seat pillars (over 2 meters high); the square is at the beginning of Austurstræti (Austurstræti 1) and is squared off by the streets Aðalstræti, Hafnarstræti, Veltusund, and Vallarstræti. If you walk down Laugavegur (The main shopping street), please continue until you come to the square, always walking straight down until you can\’t continue further. On Ingolfur square, you can see Kvosin, a small grocery market, and Center Hotel Plaza.
