See Reykjavík from a whole new angle on the Reykjavík Summit Helicopter Tour. This exciting flight offers incredible aerial views of Iceland’s capital city.
The adventure begins with a smooth takeoff from Reykjavík Airport. Soon, you’ll rise above the colorful houses that make the city famous. From this perspective, Reykjavík resembles a giant Lego creation. You’ll also spot landmarks such as Hallgrímskirkja Church and the Harpa Concert Hall, both even more striking from the sky.
In addition, the tour includes a landing on a nearby mountaintop. This stop allows you to step out and enjoy stunning panoramas. Depending on weather, you may see geothermal steam rising, rugged peaks stretching into the distance, or the shimmering blue ocean dotted with islands. Therefore, each flight is unique, as the pilot carefully selects the best landing spot for the day.
The total duration of the tour is 40–45 minutes, while the actual flight time is 15–20 minutes. Because of its length, this helicopter ride is the perfect short adventure for busy travelers. Moreover, it fits easily into a day of exploring Reykjavík.
For example, you might spend your morning visiting museums, then soar above the city in the afternoon. Or you can take the flight before dinner to watch the golden light reflect on the mountains.
Overall, the Reykjavík Summit Helicopter Tour combines city highlights with Iceland’s breathtaking natural scenery. It is ideal for visitors seeking adventure, stunning photographs, and unforgettable memories. Book your helicopter tour today and elevate your Reykjavík experience!
