The Reykjavík Summit Helicopter Tour

On this tour, you’ll get a chance to view Reykjavík from a completely different angle! Departing from Reykjavík, you will fly above the city and be able to view sights such as the Hallgrímskirkja church and Harpa music hall from above. Reykjavík is a colorful city – it’s often said that from above it looks like a giant Lego masterpiece. On this tour, you will surely see why!

Not only will you fly above the city, but you will also land at a nearby mountaintop. From there, you will be able to view the stunning nature that surrounds the city.  Depending on where you land, you might see steam rising from the earth, beautiful mountains and/or the blue sea where small islands dot the landscape. Your pilot will pick the perfect landing site, depending on weather conditions each day.

The total duration of this tour is 40 – 45 minutes, of which the flight duration is about 15 – 20 minutes. This tour is the perfect short and sweet addition to a day spent exploring Iceland’s capital city.
