Discover the breathtaking beauty of Iceland’s South Coast on this small group day tour from Reykjavík. With convenient pick-up at your hotel or designated bus stop, you can relax and enjoy an unforgettable journey through some of the country’s most iconic natural wonders.
The South Coast of Iceland is famous for its dramatic landscapes where fire, ice, mountains, and ocean meet. Traveling along the scenic Ring Road, you’ll pass the mighty Eyjafjallajökull volcano while experiencing a variety of natural phenomena—from towering green mountains and cascading waterfalls to vast glaciers, dramatic sea cliffs, and the striking black sand beaches that make this region world-renowned.
On this guided tour, you will visit:
Seljalandsfoss waterfall – where you can walk behind the cascading water curtain.
Skógafoss waterfall – one of Iceland’s largest and most photogenic falls.
Reynisfjara black sand beach – famous for its basalt columns and roaring Atlantic waves.
Reynisdrangar sea stacks – dramatic rock formations known as petrified trolls.
Vík village – a charming coastal town.
Sólheimajökull glacier – where you can walk with your guide to admire the unique glacial landscape.
The walk to the glacier takes about 20 minutes each way over uneven terrain. We recommend sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, as conditions can change quickly in Iceland.
