Tour Itinerary

Your journey begins with a convenient morning pick-up from Bus Stop #12 (opposite Storm Hotel) in Reykjavík. Pick-up starts up to 30 minutes before departure. Other pick-up locations can be arranged for an extra fee—just be ready at the time listed on your voucher.

Lake Kleifarvatn
Our first stop is Lake Kleifarvatn, a mysterious lake nestled in a dramatic volcanic setting. Surrounded by lava fields and rugged hills, the area offers breathtaking views and insight into Iceland’s unique geology.

Seltún Geothermal Area
From there, we head to Seltún, where steaming vents, bubbling mud pools, and colorful mineral deposits showcase the raw power of geothermal activity. This otherworldly landscape provides unforgettable photo opportunities.

Reykjadalur Valley – The Hot Spring River
After lunch, lace up your hiking boots for the highlight of the tour: a scenic hike through Reykjadalur Valley, also known as Steam Valley. The hike takes about 60 minutes each way, with beautiful views of rolling hills and steaming vents along the trail. At the top, reward yourself with a dip in the warm thermal river, a natural hot spring where you can relax in pristine surroundings.
