Experience Iceland’s highlights on the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon Tour, a full-day adventure that combines stunning landmarks with ultimate relaxation. You will explore Þingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Kerið Crater before unwinding at the Blue Lagoon. This tour offers the perfect mix of sightseeing and wellness.
Your journey begins with a convenient pickup in Reykjavík. From there, you travel to Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates drift apart. At the same time, you discover Iceland’s history, since the Alþing — the world’s oldest surviving parliament — was founded here in 930 AD. Because of its cultural and geological importance, Þingvellir now holds UNESCO World Heritage status.
Afterward, the tour continues to the Geysir geothermal area. Here, you watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, sending boiling water up to 30 meters into the air. This natural spectacle never fails to impress visitors.
Next, you head to the iconic Gullfoss Waterfall. Glacial water from the Hvítá River thunders into a rugged canyon, and on sunny days, you may even spot rainbows forming in the mist.
Before leaving the Golden Circle, you stop at the striking Kerið volcanic crater. Over 3,000 years ago, a volcanic eruption shaped this site, leaving behind red slopes and a vivid blue lake. Since the entrance fee is included, you can enjoy this unique landmark without extra cost.
Finally, the day ends with a relaxing visit to the Blue Lagoon. You spend about two hours soaking in warm, mineral-rich waters known for their healing properties. Because the Comfort ticket is included, you enjoy all the essentials for a rejuvenating experience. Afterward, your guide returns you comfortably to Reykjavík.
