During the ride, you’ll travel along Iceland’s world-famous black sand beaches, created by volcanic activity and shaped by the Atlantic Ocean. The dramatic landscape offers incredible views in every season. In the summer months, you may see puffins flying above the cliffs, while in winter, the raw beauty of Iceland’s ever-changing weather highlights the coastline in unforgettable ways.

The tour is designed to be easy-going, with most of the ride at a comfortable walking pace. However, riders who feel confident will have the chance to try the tölt, a smooth and unique gait that is special to the Icelandic horse.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please note that riders must be 10 years or older and weigh no more than 100 kg / 220 lbs. Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in warm layers, wearing gloves, and bringing sturdy shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots.

We kindly ask all participants to arrive at the stables 15 minutes before departure, dressed and ready to ride.
