Experience Icelandic nature’s power! This guided tour takes you on a fantastic tour in a small group to the famous Golden Circle and for a river rafting activity!
What will you see?
Thingvellir National park is your first visit. Here you witness the aftermath of the continental drift. You see fissures, crevasses, and waterfalls while taking in the dramatic beauty of the place. Thingvellir is also an important historical site. It is indeed here that the oldest known parliament was created, back in the year 930.
Next, you visit the Haukadalur geothermal area spread over 3 km. Here, the geyser Strokkur erupts every 5 to 10 minutes and shoots its warm water column up to 10 to 20 meters high. Be ready to capture this unique moment! At Geysir, you also find boiling mud pits and fumaroles. The water temperature gets extremely high, so stay on the paved path.
Now, you complete the Golden Circle exploration by visiting the mighty waterfall Gullfoss. This is one of Iceland’s most popular and photographed natural landscapes. The waterfall impressively falls from a 32 meters height and crashes into a narrow canyon, creating a mist of water spray. The chute is fed by the beautiful glacier river – Hvítá, rich in Salmon.
River Rafting
The adventure continues, and we crank up a notch with a river rafting activity on the Hvíta river!
