The Glacier Landing Helicopter Tour

Looking for a unique glacier tour in Iceland? Look no further! The Glacier Landing without a doubt the most stylish way to visit one of Iceland’s glaciers. On this tour, you will fly from Reykjavík to Þórisjökull glacier where you’ll get the chance to walk around and take some stunning photos. From the glacier, you will be able to catch a glimpse of the Icelandic highlands and the nearby Langjökull glacier.

Not only that but during the flight, you’ll also fly over some of Iceland’s most famous sights! After landing on the glacier, you’ll fly over the shield volcano Skjaldbreiður’s crater. You will also fly over Þingvellir National Park for a completely different perspective than you can experience on a regular Golden Circle tour. Þingvellir is a site rich in history and natural beauty. Here you can see how the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart. You will also fly over Reykjavík for unique views of the city, and it’s town mountain Esja.

The total duration of this tour is 75 – 95 minutes, of which flight duration is about 50 – 70 minutes. The landing included in the tour is about 15 minutes.
