This tour offers a great experience on the South Coast of Iceland at a great price! On this minibus tour, you will explore the epic landscape of the South and hike on Sólheimajökull Glacier. You will also visit famous sights such as Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Not only that, but you will also be able to walk on the majestic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach.

After pickup in Reykjavík, you will start by driving to Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This waterfall is famous for being the waterfall you can walk behind. Be sure to bring some extra clothing if you want to try it! Nearby is also the smaller Gljúfrabúi waterfall. Next, you will visit Skógafoss waterfall. This impressive waterfall is one of the largest in Iceland. If you are prepared to get a little wet, you can view it up close!

After visiting some of Iceland’s most famous waterfall, you will head up to Sólheimajökull glacier. Here you will go on a glacier hike with your glacier guide. During the hike, you will learn more about the glacier and be able to view its many features. After the glacier hike, it’s time to head down to the black sand beach of Reynisfjara. Here you can marvel at the Reynisdrangar rock pillars and experience the iconic black sand beach.

At the end of your tour, your guide will drop you off at your selected point in Reykjavík.

Do I need to be fit to participate in this tour?

This tour is rated easy to moderate due to the glacier hike that is included. A reasonable level of fitness is required to be able to walk up to the glacier and on it, but most guests are able to complete this tour without issue.

Is lunch included on this tour?

No, lunch is not included in the tour but there will be a stop along the way where you can purchase lunch and snacks. You are also welcome to bring a packed lunch on the tour.

We recommend bringing energy bars or similar for the tour.

What should I wear and bring with me on the tour?

You should bring warm and weatherproof clothing. Keep in mind that the weather in Iceland can change quickly and without warning.

Good hiking boots are essential on this tour. If you do not have hiking boots you can add them to your booking at an additional cost.
