From there you’ll go up on the Langjökull glacier and literally go into the glacier! This unique tour if perfect for all those who’d like to have a one of a kind experience. After departure from Reykjavík, you will start your journey up to Langjökull glacier. The first destination on this tour is the beautiful Húsafell area. Long known as a popular outdoor area for locals, this is a truly stunning area. One in Húsafell you’ll move to a specially modified vehicle that can drive on the glacier. This is a stunning ride that takes you up on Langjökull glacier, the second largest glacier in Iceland. Once at your destination, you’ll be able to journey into the glacier through a series of man-made tunnels. During the tour, you’ll learn more about the Icelandic glaciers, how they came to be and also their future. This experience is at once both visually fascinating and educational.
After going into the glacier, you’ll head back to Húsafell. There you will be able to enjoy lunch. Afterward, you’ll visit the stunning Hraunfossar waterfall before driving back to Reykjavík.
This tour includes an audio guide in 10 languages. We recommend bringing your own headphones for the audio guide, but you can also buy them on the bus. Each seat on the bus is equipped with a tablet which you can also use to learn interesting information about Iceland. There is free WiFi on the bus, and you can charge your phone.

No, pickup and drop-off are not included but you can add pickup for 1,400 ISK per person for adults and teenagers. There’s no pickup fee for children 11 years and younger when accompanied by adults.
You can select the most convenient location for your transfer at booking.
If you do not want to add pickup to your tour, the meeting point is at the Reykjavik Terminal, Skógahlíð 10, 105 Reykjavík. Please be at the terminal at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour.
Make sure to note down your pickup times and Departure Times. Pick up can take up to 30 minutes starting from the time on your ticket. Please wait at your hotel/guest house in this time span.
Guest are collected with several minibusses, so please be aware that you may need to change buses at a meeting point before the tour begins.
Yes, we encourage you to bring your own headphones for the audio guide.
If you do not have headphones, you can either buy them at booking or on the bus during the tour.

Yes and yes! On this tour, you can enjoy free WiFi while on board the bus and there is a USB charger. Just remember to bring your charging cable and you won’t need to worry about running out of battery.
You should dress according to the weather, but keep in mind that in Iceland the weather can change quickly!
We recommend warm clothing and a waterproof second layer. Keep in mind that the temperature inside the ice cave is about 0°C (32° Fahrenheit). Don’t forget to wear good, sturdy shoes.
If needed, a one-piece waterproof suit and boots are provided on location.
No, there is no age limit on this tour. It’s perfect for all types of travelers, families in included. The tour is FREE for kids 11 years and younger when accompanied by adults.
No, lunch is not included in this tour. You will be able to purchase lunch in Húsafell during the tour. You can of course also bring a packed lunch.
Reservations can be canceled 24 hours prior to departure without penalty. Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to departure are non-refundable.

Please be mindful of possible time zone differences. Iceland is in the GMT time zone and cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before departure in Icelandic local time (GMT).
