A Day at the Farm with the Icelandic Horse

On this tour, you’ll be able to visit a beautiful Icelandic farm, ride Icelandic horses and enjoy a relaxing day countryside. This is a full day experience where you’ll go on two riding tours and learn more about life on an Icelandic horse farm. Located just a short drive away from Reykjavík, this tour is a great addition to any Reykjavík city break.

After arrival at the farm, either by transfer service or rental vehicle, you will meet the farm’s friendly owners. You’ll also meet some other new friends, the charming Icelandic horses! After chatting with your guides, they’ll select the perfect horse for you based on your prior experience.

In the morning you will go on a two-hour riding tour in the mountain area around the farm. Afterward, can enjoy some relaxing time at the farm. Included in the tour is a light lunch and coffee and tea to enjoy during the break. After lunch, you’ll head back out on another riding tour.

At the end of the day, it’s time to say goodbye after what has hopefully been a wonderful day on the farm. You can either continue your journey with your rental vehicle or be returned to Reykjavík with the transfer service.
